On Friday, November 24, 2023, the implementation of the Command Centers Exercise for the North Africa Region’s Capability concluded at the regional base in Jijel. The event was attended by the Executive Secretary of the North Africa Region’s Capability, the Head of the Planning Element in the Capability, and the Director of the Training and Excellence Center in Rouiba. The exercise was discussed and analyzed by the exercise management, and feedback was received from the evaluation team and the mentoring team, along with recording general observations. On the second day, November 25, 2023, an initial impression report on the exercise was prepared.
The core planning team will prepare a draft of the final exercise report on November 26. At the end of the ceremony, participation certificates were distributed to the attendees of the exercise, as well as recognition certificates to the base commander and the director of the Rouiba Center for their efforts in the success of the exercise, as well as to the members of the regional base. The Executive Secretary, the Head of the Planning Element, the base commander, and the director of the Rouiba Training Center exchanged commemorative shields on this occasion.
The exercise received extensive coverage in the Algerian media. A report on the exercise was presented on the Algerian news channel on the second day, and it was also covered by local newspapers.
