Today, the Chief of the Employment and Preparation Department of the Algerian National People’s Army General Staff visited the Executive Secretary of the North Africa Regional Capability (NARC) at his residence in Tipaza province. During their meeting, they exchanged greetings and discussed the ongoing preparations for the “North Africa 3” field exercise, which is set to take place from May 21 to 27, 2025.
The Executive Secretary praised the significant efforts and the extensive human and material resources that the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria has dedicated to ensuring the success of this field exercise. He emphasized that this exercise is a key step in formally declaring the North Africa Regional Capability’s operational readiness to participate in various peace support operations mandated by the African Union. These operations are aimed at resolving conflicts and promoting peace and security across the African continent.
