NARC Executive Secretary received, Monday, February 27, 2023, at the headquarters of the Executive Secretariat in Tripoli, Assistant,Naval and Air Military Attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Tunisia to Libya, Brig. Gen. Khaled Ben Ammar, in the presence of the Head of the Planning Element and NARC File Officer at the Libyan Ministry of Defense, as well as members of the Executive Secretariat and the Planning Element.
At the outset of the meeting, the Executive Secretary welcomed the Tunisian attaché, indicating his hope that this visit would be the first step in the path of communication and cooperation between the two sides, especially since Tunisia is one of the member states of the region.
Head of the Planning Element, for his part, made a presentation in which he dealt with the various phases leading to the establishment of NARC, its permanent and standby components, and the tasks assigned to it in accordance with the AU Constitutive Act, the founding protocol of Peace and Security Council, and the Memorandum of Understanding signed by NARC member states.
