The preliminary planning conference for the Command Centers Exercise of the North Africa region’s capacity for the year 2023 commenced on September 19. It was immediately preceded by a concept development conference that lasted for four days.
These conferences serve as preparatory stages for the Command Centers Exercise, which is scheduled to take place in Algeria in late November 2023. The exercise is a crucial part of the training process to achieve readiness. It is worth noting that the planning element has already implemented various activities during the first half of this year, involving all components (military, police, and civilian), in accordance with the planning element’s work plan for 2023.
Participants from member states representing all components (military, police, and civilian) attended this conference, as well as representatives from the European Union Mission to Libya.
