The planning element of North Africa region held a dialogue session on Wednesday with a delegation from the planning element of the Southern African Development Community (SADC). The session included informative presentations about NARC and its organizational structures.
The head of the planning element opened the dialogue session, which was attended by the Executive Secretary of NARC, who welcomed the delegation from the SADC planning element, led by the Chief of Staff of the SADC planning element.
He emphasized the importance of such meetings, which facilitate the exchange of experiences, lessons learned, and contribute to the development and enhancement of the planning elements in both regions.
Then, the head and members of the planning element of NARC proceeded to present their insights on NARC, including its establishment, organizational structures, activities, and training exercises carried out to achieve operational readiness.
After the presentations, an extensive discussion took place, during which the visiting delegation raised many questions and inquiries. The head and members of the planning element of NARC worked to clarify them.
It is worth noting that the delegation from the SADC planning element, led by the Chief of Staff, is currently on an official visit to NARC as part of efforts to enhance coordination and cooperation between the two parties.
