This morning, Wednesday, July 14, 2024, meetings between the NARC Planning Element and a delegation of the Commission, consisting of three experts from the Peace Support Operations Division, began at the Planning Element’s headquarters in Tripoli.
These meetings aim to strengthen the relationship between the continental planning element and the capacity planning element, with a focus on establishing a continental movement coordination center and a regional movement coordination center.
This initiative is part of the Commission delegation’s tour across the regions of the continent, aiming to activate the continental movement coordination center responsible for developing strategic operational plans for the African standby force, of which the NARC is a key component. The meetings will last for two days.
