NARC Executive Secretariat organized, Sunday, February 26, 2023, a virtual farewell ceremony via Zoom platform for the commanders of NARC components in Cairo; i.e commanders of the Brigade and the Logistic Base, at the end of their duties.
In his speech, NARC’s Executive Secretary thanked the commanders of the brigade and the Logistic Base for their tireless work in order to advance the work of these two important components, which play important roles in deployment process and peace support at the regional and continental levels, wishing them success in their upcoming tasks.
The Executive Secretary also welcomed the new commanders of the Brigade and the Logistic Base in Egypt, wishing them success in continuing the work of their colleagues whose assignments has just ended, stressing that they would find all support and cooperation from the Executive Secretariat and the Planning Element.
For his part, the head of the Planning Element praised the dedication of the command of the Brigade and Logistic Base and their tangible contributions, which had a remarkable impact on the implementation of the logistical exercise in July of this year.
He also welcomed the Command of the Brigade and the Logistic Base, stressing that the Planning Element is ready to work together with them in order to move forward to enhance the level of work of various NARC components to assume their due appropriate position at the level of the continent.
The floor was then given to the commanders of the components whose duties has ended, who praised the fraternal spirit that prevailed throughout their work and the cooperation that they enjoyed from members of the Executive Secretariat and the Planning Element, led by the Executive Secretary and the Head of the Planning Element.
They stressed to continue communication with members of the Executive Secretariat and the PLANELM.
The new commanders of the Brigade and the Logistic base also spoke in this occasion, emphasizing the continuation of the path of their colleagues whose duties have just ended, and that they look forward to working to advance the components and contribute to achieving what NARC seeks to accomplish.
At the conclusion of this occasion, the head of the Planning Element revealed that the Executive Secretariat has prepared certificates of thanks and appreciation for the commanders of the Brigade and the Logistic base in Egypt, whose services have ended, and that they would be sent to them.
